Description
The GUB Plus 11 Phone Mount is a CNC-machined aluminium alloy phone holder built for cyclists and e-bike riders who rely on their phone for navigation, ride tracking or calls on the go. Unlike flexible plastic mounts, the Plus 11 uses a rigid metal frame and a tri-diameter clamp system to lock onto handlebars from 22.2mm road bars right up to 31.8mm oversized MTB and e-bike bars, holding phones between 60mm and 100mm wide firmly in place over rough Sydney roads and trails.

Product Information
The GUB Plus 11 replaces flimsy silicone strap mounts with a genuine aluminium alloy clamp and cradle. The handlebar clamp is engraved with its recommended 5Nm tightening torque and 31.8mm reference diameter, and ships with rubber shims so the same mount fits down to 22.2mm road handlebars. The phone cradle uses two spring-loaded arms that slide along a threaded rod, so it self-centres most phones and cases without needing to be reset each time you dock your phone. A rotating ball-joint base lets you angle the screen away from direct sunlight or switch between portrait and landscape.

Compatibility
Suits standard road and hybrid bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes and most motorcycle-style handlebars. Because the clamp adjusts across the full 22.2mm–31.8mm range, it’s a good match for oversized e-bike cockpits as well as older road bars without needing a separate shim kit. Pair it with our E-Bike Mirror for a fuller view of what’s behind and beside you on shared paths.
Installation Notes
Loosen the clamp with the thumbscrew or a hex key, position it on a clean section of handlebar, then tighten to a firm, snug fit — the 5Nm marking on the clamp is a useful reference if you’re using a torque wrench. Slide your phone between the spring-loaded arms until both sides click against the case, and check the cradle is centred before riding. Re-check clamp tightness after your first few rides, as new fittings can settle slightly.
Safety & Usage Notes
Mount the phone where it doesn’t block your view of the road, and avoid watching videos, texting or scrolling while riding. Glance at navigation only when it’s safe to do so, and pull over if you need to interact with your phone directly. Regularly inspect the clamp and cradle for wear, and stop using the mount if the arms no longer hold your phone securely.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my e-bike's oversized handlebars?
Yes. The clamp adjusts across 22.2mm, 25.4mm and 31.8mm, which covers the vast majority of e-bike, mountain bike and road handlebars sold in Australia.
What size phones does it hold?
The spring-loaded cradle expands from 60mm to 100mm wide, which covers most phones from compact models up to large phones in a case.
Can I switch between portrait and landscape?
Yes, the ball-joint base rotates a full 360°, so you can angle the screen for either orientation or to reduce glare.
Does it come with fitting tools?
The mount includes its fitting hardware and rubber shims for the smaller clamp diameters; a hex key is recommended for the firmest fit.
This mount is a riding accessory only. Always comply with local road rules regarding mobile phone use while cycling, and never interact with your phone while the bike is moving.
