CR2032 is a widely used, standard coin-cell size — it’s the same battery used in genuine Apple AirTag trackers, most alarm disc locks (including our own Alarm Disc Lock), and many keyless remotes and wireless sensors. Always check your specific device’s manual or existing battery for “CR2032” printed on it before ordering, since some similarly-sized cells (like CR2025 or CR2016) are thinner and not interchangeable.
Workshop Tips
Keep a spare CR2032 on hand for anything battery-powered on your bike setup — alarm locks, trackers and wireless sensors all tend to go quiet with no other warning than the device simply stopping working. Store spares in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and always insert the battery the right way around (flat positive side facing the contact marked “+”) to avoid damaging the device.
